SRX™ Series. The Low-PIM Coaxial Cable Assembly and Adapter Solution.

San-tron SRX™ low PIM cable assemblies and adapters are the perfect choice when passive intermodulation distortion issues plague your critical signal transmissions. These cable assemblies are phase and attenuation stable, provide excellent shielding, support UL/NEC Plenum-class CMP, are corrosion resistant, are low in weight, and are highly flexible. They feature intermodulation performance as low as -168 dBc with an eSeries 7/16 connector terminated on flexible-141 cable. Typical performance across the lineup of assemblies terminated with SMA style and Type N style connectors is -158 dBc. SRX cable assemblies come in variety of in-cabinet, jumper, and long-haul styles, and in many cases are plenum-rated for fire retardation which is commonly required of in-building wireless or distributed antenna systems (DAS).

Mini-DINs Added to SRX Lineup

We’ve recently added high performance 4.1/9.5 mini-DIN cable assemblies and adapters to our growing line of low-PIM SRX products. The mini-DINs feature RF performance through 16 GHz and yield low PIM of -160 dBc with VSWR < 1.10:1 up to 7 GHz. They meet the most critical requirements for attenuation, VSWR, and intermodulation strength, and stand up to extreme environments due to their robust brass bodies and Albaloy plating. Mini-DIN adapters are available as within-series (mini-DIN to mini-DIN) as well as between-series adapters to Type N, SMA and 7/16 DIN interfaces.

S292™ Series. The 40 GHz Coaxial Solution.

San-tron's S292 series is a new, exclusive offering for RF/microwave, military and aerospace engineers designing in the 40 GHz or K-band range. These high-performance coaxial connectors are designed to the 2.92 mm standard and offer a compatible mating style to Anritsu K Connectors, APC 3.5, SMA, WSMA, and 3.50 mm connectors. The S292 is rated to 40 GHz with outstanding performance when joined with .012 hermetic feedthroughs. This connector's .0689 launch diameter and center-contact geometry were specifically formulated to enhance performance when mated with these seals. These assemblies generate a VSWR contribution of 1.18 through 40 GHz. Both female and male versions of the field-replaceable panel receptacles are available with 7 flange styles and 2-hole and 4-hole mount options.

pSeries™ Pressurized IP68 Rated Connectors.  The O-ring-less Coaxial Solution.

Pressurized coaxial connectors are vital when high pressure is maintained for extended periods and environment protection is required, such as in agriculture, aviation, and marine applications. These applications also typically require protection against moisture and other contaminates. But most pressurized coaxial connectors today use failure-prone internal O rings to create a pressure seal. Until now.

San-tron's innovative pSeries pressurized coaxial connectors provide low-loss, high-stability performance and meet MIL-STD 202 Method 212, Condition D (+125º C flourocarbon leak), test conditions. And they have been ingeniously designed so that they can be machined to extremely tight tolerances and can achieve pressure seals without an O-ring. These connectors' seal integrity, in fact, exceeds 10-5 cm3/s when tested under 30 psi pressure of alcohol per STI 8.2.4-13. A proprietary insulator also offers five times more thermal stability than standard PTFE insulators found in other pressurized connectors.

eSeries™ Connectors. Creating Ruggedized, Flexible Coaxial Cable Assembly Solutions.

eSeries high-performance RF coaxial connectors for flexible cable are the solution when applications include numerous flexures near the connector and when signal transmission is vital. Externally, eSeries coaxial connectors have an extended ferrule designed to protect a common failure point at the solder-wick line when cables are flexed repeatedly. To solve a common problem of brass coupling nuts "walking off," these connectors also feature a new, failure-proof coupling nut. Internally, eSeries coaxial connectors offer an easy-style, solder-free, captivated center contact; and a solder-damming positive cable stop to assist cable-assembly manufacturing technicians in consistently driving the cable into an exact position. The net result is flat and predictable broadband VSWR performance. eSeries connectors are also weatherproof and provide 50-ohm constant impedance. They’re designed to mate perfectly with San-tron's SRX-141 flexible cable and are available in eSMA, Type N, 7/16, and TNC styles. PIM models are also available featuring specialized plating.
