Plugs, Straight, Crimp Type

SC connectors are threaded versions of the C connector and are used in severe environments, particularly vibration and shock, where the spring loaded bayonet locking coupling mechanism of the C connector is not suitable. They are medium size connectors intended for use with .350 to .450 diameter coaxial cables. SC connectors embody all of the electrical features of C connectors while adding the rigidity and stability of a screw type coupling mechanism. Unless otherwise noted all San-tron SC connectors are nickel plated and have silver plated center contacts. They are also available in other finishes such as silver or Albaloy and with gold plated center contacts. All San-tron SC connectors will mate with connectors and adapters which have MIL-STD-348 SC interfaces.
