MHV Connectors
MHV connectors were designed to replace BNC connectors in applications exceeding 500 volts. Although similar in size and configuration they will not mate with BNC connectors. They are intended for use with .150 to .250 diameter coaxial cables and feature an extended interface dielectric for a longer breakdown path. MHV connectors utilize a quick disconnect bayonet locking coupling mechanism. They are of non-constant impedance and are weatherproof. Unless otherwise noted all San-tron MHV connectors are nickel plated and have silver plated center contacts. They are also available in other finishes such as silver or Albaloy and with gold plated center contacts. All San-tron MHV connectors will mate with connectors and adapters which have MIL-STD-348 MHV interfaces.
