SHV Connectors

Plugs, Straight, Crimp Type

SHV connectors are a decided improvement over MHV connectors and are replacing them in many applications. They will not mate with MHV connectors. SHV connectors are intended for use with .150 to .250 diameter coaxial cables and feature recessed center contacts when unmated. An added safety feature is that their outer contacts are grounded throughout the mating sequence. SHV connectors utilize a quick disconnect bayonet locking coupling mechanism. They are of non-constant impedance and are weatherproof. Unless otherwise noted all San-tron SHV connectors are nickel plated and have silver plated center contacts. They are also available in other finishes such as silver or Albaloy and with gold plated center contacts. All San-tron SHV connectors will mate with connectors and adapters which have MIL-STD-348 SHV interfaces.
